Responsibilities
·RFP/RFI Response Coordination: oReview and analyse client RFP/RFI requirements. oDraft and manage proposals in alignment with cross-functional teams (Process R&D, Analytical, QA/QC, SCM, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Technology transfer, Process engineering - etc) ensuring technical and commercial alignment with client needs. oProposal Development: oPrepare and finalize commercial proposals for Tech transfer, custom synthesis, route scouting, kilo-lab, and scale-up programs. oIncorporate project timelines, cost sheets, milestones, and risk mitigations. ·Costing & Pricing: oWork closely with finance and operations teams to develop accurate costing models. oEnsure competitive yet profitable pricing strategies based on internal capabilities and market benchmarks. ·Client Interface Support: oProvide proposal-related support during client calls, discussions, and follow-ups. oClarify technical and pricing queries from clients and internal stakeholders. ·Process Improvement: oMaintain a repository of previous proposals, costing templates, and case studies. oOptimize proposal templates and workflows to improve turnaround times and quality KEY COMPETENCIES: Key Skills & Competencies ·Strong understanding of API and intermediate development life cycle – from route scouting to commercial manufacturing. ·Familiarity with CDMO/CRO business models, regulatory requirements (ICH, FDA, EU, etc.), and quality systems. ·Proficiency in proposal writing, technical documentation, and business presentations. ·Excellent project management, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. ·Strong verbal and written communication abilities for both technical and client-facing communications. ·Hands-on experience with MS Excel (for costing), PowerPoint, Word, and CRM tools. o Desirable
