This position will be located located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You Will Get To Do: Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include NX, ANSYS, and a variety of engineering software applications. As part of the Sentinel Support Equipment team, your technical expertise and analytical prowess will play a vital role in structural analysis. Structural Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of experience, 1 year of experience with Master's degree Must be a US Citizen with the ability to gain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, or currently hold an active clearance and investigation completed within the last 5 years 1+ Yrs of experience performing static structural analyses and closed form calculations. 1+ Yrs of experience with ABAQUS, FEMAP, or ANSYS FEA software. 1+ Yrs of experience creating analysis documentation and presenting results to peers and leadership. performing dynamic structural analyses (modal, shock, vibration, transient loading).
Experience
in fatigue analysis of steel and aluminum components. Excellent teamwork skills and ability to interface with multiple disciplines. A history of independently completing tasks and on-the-fly problem solving.

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
