Job Description The Lead, Intelligent Automation and Reporting will drive enterprise automation, reporting, and analytics capabilities that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and reporting across Ares. The role combines strategic leadership, stakeholder consulting, solution architecture, and hands-on technical oversight across Microsoft Power Platform, Jira Automation, and Power BI. The individual will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, recommend fit-for-purpose solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery through governance, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement. Supervises: Automation Technology Team and Reporting & Analytics Team Primary functions & responsibilities: A. Business Partnership & Solution Consulting • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify automation and reporting opportunities. • Translate business requirements into scalable automation and analytics solutions. • Act as a trusted advisor, recommending the best technology solution based on business value and enterprise standards. B. Engineering & Delivery Leadership • Lead Automation (Power Automate, Jira) and Reporting (Power BI) teams. • Oversee solution design, architecture reviews, development, testing, deployment, and production support. • Establish engineering standards, reusable frameworks, governance, and delivery best practices. • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture. C. Operational Excellence • Manage team capacity, portfolio prioritization, and delivery roadmaps. • Define KPIs and measure automation adoption, reporting quality, SLAs, and business value. • Drive continuous improvement, documentation, and operational readiness. D. People Leadership • Coach and mentor engineers and BI developers. • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline. • Master's degree preferred. • Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Agile, or Project Management certifications are desirable.

Experience

Required: • 10+ years in technology, automation, business intelligence, or business transformation. • 5+ years leading engineering, automation, or analytics teams. • Deep expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate), Power BI, and Jira Automation. •

Experience

delivering enterprise-scale automation and reporting solutions. • Financial Services or Asset Management experience preferred. General

Reporting Relationships Partner, Chief Information Officer Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.
