About the Role We're looking for an experienced IT Support Supervisor to lead the day-to-day IT support operations across our Southern African business on a seven-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, improving service delivery and ensuring business-critical systems remain secure, stable and available. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will oversee IT support services, helpdesk operations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support, infrastructure availability and operational governance. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, global IT teams and external technology partners to deliver reliable, secure and customer-focused IT services while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day IT support function across the Southern African region, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Act as the operational lead for Syspro Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support, including user access, system configuration, vendor management, upgrades and issue escalation. Supervise, coach and support IT support technicians, allocating workloads and promoting a high standard of customer service. Monitor helpdesk performance and drive continuous improvements to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved. Ensure the availability, performance and reliability of servers, networks, hardware, software and other business-critical systems. Coordinate system maintenance, backup monitoring, disaster recovery testing and cybersecurity activities, including access reviews and patch management. Produce operational reports and dashboards covering service performance, system health, recurring issues and IT risks. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, Finance, Global IT teams and external technology partners to deliver effective IT services. Experience, Skills &

Qualifications

Essential Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline. At least five years' experience supporting IT infrastructure, networking, server administration and end-user support.

Experience

supporting enterprise business applications, preferably Syspro Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Strong understanding of Microsoft server environments, networking, hardware and desktop support.

Experience

managing incidents, prioritising workloads and improving IT service delivery. Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities. Desirable Previous experience supervising or leading an IT support team. Microsoft certifications such as MCSE or MCITP. Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.

Experience
