The Boiler Field Services-TFA, is a key role in the SPPS Team where you will have significant opportunity to demonstrate your strategic, creative problem-solving, technical, communication and process skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment. Candidate will be accountable for successful execution of the Boiler service project assigned to him. He will have to work with cross-functional resources/teams to deliver results, lead long-term planning for the successful site execution of the project, manage complex issues including technical solutions. Responsibilities
Execute the assigned Boiler projects within the specified time line related to erection & commissioning, inspection, trouble-shooting, R&M or upgrade type of jobs. Should be able to deliver with lead role in commissioning and tuning operation during installation of new equipment, Renovation-jobs, re-commissioning of Boiler and allied equipment. Fully conversant with safety interlocks related to Burner Management System (BMS) or Furnace Safeguard Supervisory system (FSSS), Combustion Modification tuning requirement for NOx control. Should be conversant with Firing system, Pulverisers, and their inspection-checks, performance monitoring. Interact with cross functional team to deliver the scope on time. Daily reporting to the field Service Head & PM for the Site progress and the next day program. Qualifications/
Requirements
Bachelor degree/Diploma from a government accredited university/Institute or other institutes and preferably in C&I or electronics Engineering. Added Qualification in similar field will be given weightage in selection process. At least 10 -15 years of experience in Erection/Commissioning/Operation Services for industries in the domain of Field Service of Boiler and auxiliary commissioning and operation In-depth knowledge in Control System, ability to develop and implement logics/interlocks in DCS/PLC related to boiler/BOP controls. Trouble shooting, performance checking knowledge of boiler components Experienced in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in a thermal power plant. Must have commissioning and operation experience in P.F. fired boilers and auxiliary. Willingness to travel site to site and agreed for long term site deputation. The job requirement is at site only. Desired Characteristic Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Capability / Inclination towards technical assessment & implementation of technical recommendation at site. Knowledge of ALSTOM/GE /Wall-fired/Other OEM design Boilers and auxiliary. Hands-on experience in assessment / troubleshooting in Boiler. Able to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customers. Knowledge on Boiler mechanical configuration, design and components.
