Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Perform routine and deep cleaning of the facility, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom cleaning and stocking, stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, spot cleaning, window washing, and other janitorial duties. Clean and maintain facility equipment, furniture, fixtures, walls, operable partitions, barricades, counters, sinks, tables, risers, carpets, concrete floors, tile floors, and other surfaces. Clean offices, service hallways, storage areas, and other non-public spaces. Maintain the cleanliness of exterior areas, including sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds. Clean interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and glass doors, including during event operations. Prepare meeting rooms prior to event setup by dusting fixtures, polishing wood surfaces, refreshing painted surfaces as needed, and cleaning HVAC grates. Perform carpet extraction, stain removal, and gum removal throughout the facility before, during, and after events. Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment, including mops, brooms, buckets, cleaning chemicals, PPE, trash bags, floor machines, and other custodial tools. Assist with the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, staging, and other event equipment. Operate floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other light power-driven cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Report maintenance and repair needs to the appropriate department. Ensure event spaces are properly prepared according to event requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, secure, and sanitary work environment. Report to work as scheduled, in proper uniform with name badge, and maintain professional grooming standards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of six (6) months of janitorial or housekeeping experience, preferably in a convention center, arena, hotel, or similar facility. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and initiative. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and guests. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing operational needs. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Supervisory

Working Conditions
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, fumes, wet floors, noise, and varying temperatures. Work is performed in a large public assembly facility where schedules and priorities may change based on event operations.
