Job Description Job Responsibilities * Supervise and train a team of inventory associates, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company procedures. * Oversee daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, picking, and issuing materials to production lines. * Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions. * Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and communicate proactively with planning and procurement teams. * Operate and maintain material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently. * Implement and maintain 5S principles within the inventory cell to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, shipping) to optimize material flow and resolve inventory-related issues. * Ensure accurate data entry into the company's ERP system for all inventory transactions. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts. Job Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's diploma in a related field preferred. * 3+ years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead role. * Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). * Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. * Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
