Job description

This is a 2nd shift position. Second Shifts are 1pm-9:30pm and 2pm-10:30pm You’ll lead maintenance execution, solve complex utilities and equipment, and mentor teammates—all while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering. What you’ll do: Preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance on cleanroom HVAC, BMS/EMS, process equipment (incubators, biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, freezers, pumps, single‑use systems), and critical utilities (clean steam, chilled water, gases, compressed air). Operate and solve boilers, steam generators, cooling towers/chillers, and water treatment systems. Support cleanroom integrity (HEPA, pressure differentials, temp/RH), lead root cause analysis and CAPA, calibrate instruments, and contribute to equipment qualification (URS/IQ/OQ/PQ). Own documentation in CMMS with outstanding GDP, and champion EHS (LOTO, permits, OSHA/NFPA 70E). Minimum

Qualifications

Experience

6–10+ years in GMP biopharma or cell therapy/ATMP maintenance, including cleanroom and regulated utilities.

Education

High School Diploma/GED, Technical expertise: HVAC for controlled environments, clean steam/chilled water/process gases, electrical systems up to site-authorized voltage, reading P&IDs/schematics/single-line diagrams, basic PLC/HMI. GMP savvy: cGMP, GDP, deviations/CAPA, validation/qualification for utilities. Systems: CMMS, BMS/EMS; comfortable with digital workflows and e-logbooks. Soft skills: Clear communication, teamwork, prioritization, and mentoring. Desired: Associate degree or technical diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Maintenance or equivalent military/apprenticeship training; or related field a plus. Nice to have: Vibration/thermography basics, manufacturer training on chillers/controls, GxP/cleanroom coursework, safety certifications. The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $71,749.60 - 107,624.40. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.
