About the role Treasury Support is looking for a Sr Business Systems Analyst for the Treasury Debt Management System (TDMS) business line. Reporting to a Treasury Product Manager, you will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and operations. You will analyze complex business needs, translate them into clear, actionable system requirements, and support delivery of high quality Treasury applications that serve mission critical federal programs.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a comprehensive overview of the system and its functionality, by preparing detailed business and technical documentation Analyze complex business processes and present them in an understandable and logical format Recommend processes and procedures to improve the existing system Develop detailed requirements documentation including user stories, use cases, design specifications, business process and data flows and success criteria Be a product expert and assist the product owner with backlog maintenance and refinement, including creating user stories, clarifying defects, detailing acceptance criteria, and data definitions Use knowledge of requirements, operations and engineering activities, and deadlines to communicate schedule considerations and impacts to priorities. Participate and help facilitate sessions for planning program increments, sprints, refinements, and other Agile ceremonies Troubleshoot production issues, help validate defect remediation, and work with Treasury end-users towards resolution or workarounds Work in a hybrid capacity to actively participate in meetings with operational staff, Treasury end users and developers to achieve agreement on requirements Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask, manage time and balance conflicting priorities Provide training and support to Treasury end users and FRB production and application support team(s) as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. 5+ years’ relevant experience performing Business Systems Analyst activities Strong communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills for a hybrid workforce Discipline to operate independently and thrive in ambiguity with a generalist mindset

Experience

conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, performing current state system analysis mapping, and design

Experience

with Agile/Scrum iterative product development

Experience

with testing applications including functional, user acceptance, system and integration, accessibility testing Treasury or related finance experience preferred

Experience
