This role leads the management and development of complex technical illustrations, graphics, animations, and interactive media in support of product support teams. The specialist ensures high-quality and compliant visual content by overseeing the research and analysis of source data, guiding standards and processes, and maintaining an accessible illustration library. Additionally, the role involves project oversight and stakeholder engagement to align deliverables with technical and customer requirements. Responsibilities
Manages the image approval process for multiple product support teams Leads conceptualizing, creating, designing, and modifying complex detailed illustrations, graphics, full color animations and interactive electronic media Oversees or leads research and analysis of source data or designs to inform illustration and graphics creation and provides recommendations Consults on illustration and graphics development standards, processes, and procedures for support engineering products and services Oversees maintaining and storing illustration and graphics for accessibility Leads ensuring product compliance with applicable standards and specifications Performs project oversight activities, stakeholder management, and provides technical consultation Oversees and leads investigating emerging technologies, techniques, tools, and processes and provides recommendations Basic
Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with assigning Illustration Control Numbers (ICNs) for an S1000D application 3+ years of experience maintaining an illustrations library
Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
