Job Description The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers through the installation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, qualification, and repair of Agilent and multi-vendor system solutions. This role supports hardware, software, networking products, operating systems, and related applications while ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service and minimize customer downtime. Job Description Territory includes northern Mexico. Install, configure, optimize, and maintain hardware, software, and network products at customer sites. Diagnose and resolve equipment, system, and product performance issues in a timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and service activities to ensure reliable operation of customer systems. Proactively identify and address potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruptions to customer operations. Deliver fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications systems, operating systems, and application software, in accordance with established designs and specifications. Advise customers on preventive maintenance practices, system configurations, and operational best practices that enhance performance and reliability. Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and manage product escalations when required. Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, and other cross-functional teams to provide effective customer solutions. Maintain working knowledge of applicable third-party products and technologies. Conduct technical training, maintenance seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions for field engineers and customers. Mentor and train field engineers and end users on equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and best practices. Perform on-site equipment adjustments, qualifications, validations, and system acceptance activities as required. Identify and qualify potential customer opportunities and sales leads when appropriate. Maintain accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with company and customer requirements. Qualifications Candidate must be located in Guadalajara, MX Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline. Mexican passport and U.S. Visa Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer sites. Willingness and ability to travel up to 45%+ of the time. Professional proficiency in spoken and written English. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a field-based environment Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
