This role has hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 days remote. General Description: The Manager, Finance Master Data Management is a key role within Finance Technology, responsible for hands-on creation, governance, quality monitoring, automation and continuous improvement of Finance Master Data across the enterprise. This role acts as a data steward to ensure master data is accurate, controlled, and consistently maintained across core finance platforms and downstream consumers—supporting reliable financial operations, analytics, and compliance. In addition, the role designs and builds automation solutions to streamline approvals, standardize workflows, and improve the efficiency and quality of master data loads and changes at scale. This position partners closely with Finance stakeholders, SAP Finance solution teams, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Data Governance to execute approved standards and processes and to deliver automation that reduces cycle time, improves control, and increases transparency.

Essential Functions

of the Job: Master Data Stewardship (Hands-on): Create, maintain, extend, and retire Finance Master Data objects (e.g., Chart of Accounts elements, cost/profit centers, projects, hierarchies) in line with approved standards and workflows. Governance & Controls: Draft & enforce master data policies, approval frameworks, and control requirements; maintain evidence/traceability for audit and compliance. Data Quality Management: Design & Run data quality checks and periodic reviews; analyze defects and drive corrective/preventive actions. Workflow & Approval Automation: Build automated workflows for request intake, validation, routing/approvals, and notifications. Automation of Data Loads: Automate recurring master data loads/updates with validation, exception handling, logging, and reconciliation.

Requirements

& Solution Design: Gather/document requirements; support fit/gap, testing, and deployment activities. Systems Alignment & Integration: Ensure correct maintenance in system(s) of record and consistent propagation to downstream systems/reporting. Stakeholder & Service Management: Communicate status/requirements; create guidance and training materials. Continuous Improvement: Standardize and streamline processes, controls, and automation to scale master data operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Finance Systems, and/or Master Data Management in a global enterprise setting. Strong understanding of Finance Master Data concepts and dependencies. Functional familiarity with SAP Finance environments (configuration not required). Demonstrated experience building automation for operational finance/data processes.

Experience

working in audit-sensitive environments; strong attention to detail.

Experience

in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated industries preferred. Preferred Skills &

Experience

Enterprise data governance models, master data management tools, data stewardship, and data quality monitoring practices. Master data integrations and downstream reporting/analytics consumption. Automation tooling (low-code workflow, RPA, scripting, integration/ETL patterns) applied to master data/approvals. SOP documentation, training, and user enablement.

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred. Supervisory
