Job Description Team Summary: The Global & Regional Tech Partnerships team is responsible for developing, launching and scaling new solutions with Bigtechs and Regional Platforms. Working closely with Visa’s Product and Solutions teams and other teams to identify and pursue opportunities to deliver value propositions that leverage Visa and Tech platforms’ combined scale and reach. The team will focus on both, card-based and non-card solutions. The role is based in the Singapore Market Support Centre and will report to the Senior Director, Tech Partnerships, Asia Pacific. What a Director – Regional Tech Partnerships does at Visa: Identify and execute partnership opportunities with Regional Technology platform companies to drive growth across card and non-card commerce. Develop and execute partner roadmaps that address customer needs, solve business challenges, and support Visa's growth objectives. Collaborate with Product, Technology, Client Services, Sales, Legal, and Risk teams to deliver new solutions from concept through commercialization. Lead the delivery and scaling of Visa products and capabilities with Regional Technology platform partners. Support Market teams in achieving revenue, payment volume, and product adoption targets through effective partner execution. Develop and articulate compelling business cases and value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. Manage a portfolio of strategic technology partners and build trusted relationships across business, product, and engineering teams. Drive cross-functional alignment to accelerate implementation, commercialization, and market expansion initiatives. Support commercial negotiations, renewals, and expansion opportunities with key technology partners. Stay current on developments in the technology, fintech, and payments ecosystem, including new products, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need: 10+ years of relevant industry experience within technology partnerships, business development, consulting, product management and/or commercial roles. Strong expertise in the payments industry across card-based payments, A2A payments, local payment methods, and emerging digital payment solutions. Demonstrated experience managing strategic client or partner relationships within the technology, fintech, or payments ecosystem. Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation in a digital or fintech environment. Strong program management capabilities, with experience driving solution development and delivery end-to-end with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience

developing business cases and articulating compelling value propositions across a broad portfolio of products and solutions. Strong commercial acumen, with experience evaluating partnership opportunities, commercial structures, and growth strategies. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders. Strong ability to lead both business and technical discussions with technology-first companies.

Experience

working across multiple markets in the Asia Pacific region. Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive business outcomes. Structured and analytical approach, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Understanding of Visa's business, products, and organization is strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree required; MBA is a plus. Hands-on and entrepreneurial, with the ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed global organization.
