About the Team The Digital Value Management (DVM) team is responsible for scaling how our Global Sales Organization demonstrates the real financial and business impact of our technology to our customers and prospects. We design tools, frameworks, and strategies that make it easier for sales teams to explain how Workday solutions improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support business growth in ways that matter to each customer’s specific goals. We are part of the broader Value Management organization, which connects technology capabilities with executive-level priorities. The team works with customers to help them understand, predict, and plan for the business results they can achieve by using our solutions. Our team recently expanded to Workday’s new Costa Rica office, and we are looking for high-energy, driven individuals to help us build and scale this practice from the ground up. About the Role Value Selling Consultants play a key role in making value-based selling real and practical. They are responsible for directly impacting customer decisions by: Working directly with prospective and existing customers to understand their priorities and challenges. Building clear, credible business cases that explain why they should invest in our solutions, using data, benchmarks, and financial analysis. Partnering with sales teams to help them consistently tell a strong value story that is tailored to each customer or prospect. You will balance strategic, high-impact customer engagements with the need to support a healthy volume of opportunities across our aligned sales teams. IMPORTANT: This role requires 50% time in office, located in AFZ, Heredia.
Responsibilities
Lead customer-facing value engagements Run value-focused discovery sessions with prospects and customers to understand their current situation, pain points, and goals. Build, refine, and present compelling business cases that quantify the expected benefits of investing in our solutions (e.g., cost savings, productivity gains, risk reduction, revenue impact). Develop clear value hypotheses and customer-ready narratives that describe the business outcomes customers can achieve. Enable and empower internal sales teams Advise sales teams on how to use value tools, content, and messaging to strengthen their story throughout the sales cycle. Deliver 1:1 and group coaching sessions to help sellers get comfortable using value-based tools and talking about business outcomes, not just product features. Become an expert in our value tools and digital experience, continuously suggesting improvements and new use cases based on field feedback. Build strong partnerships with your aligned sales teams, understanding their pipeline, key deals, and growth opportunities so you can proactively support their value needs. About You Basic
Qualifications
4+ years of relevant professional experience in analytical and client-facing roles, ideally in management consulting, financial or business analysis, market research, or similar fields where you connect data and insights to business decisions. Proven experience working directly with external or internal stakeholders (e.g., clients, business leaders, or senior partners) to understand their priorities, diagnose challenges, and present recommendations. Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

Business, industry, and financial acumen Strong understanding of how businesses operate and make decisions, including key financial and operational metrics.
Experience
building financial models and conducting quantitative analyses to support business cases. Ability to research companies and industries, and to use benchmarks and external data to support analyses & recommendations. Effective communication and influence Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear presentations for diverse audiences Ability to influence and persuade others by telling a logical, evidence-based story that connects technology to business outcomes. Learning agility and problem solving Creative problem-solver who can break down ambiguous challenges into structured projects and actions. Self-starter who can take initiative, work independently, and drive progress with limited direction. Comfortable working in a dynamic global environment, adapting quickly as priorities, tools, and processes evolve.
