Job Summary
The Security Manager position is a forward-leaning field operations leader in all physical security operations in China. This role will serve as the point of contact for all matters related to physical security, risk management, incident response, and protective programs, ensuring Cadence’s people, facilities, and IP remain secure and resilient in the designated markets. This is a critical position for a company operating at the forefront of semiconductor design, AI acceleration, and global R&D expansion. Key
Responsibilities
1.Operational Excellence & Incident Response Oversee daily operational performance of guard force and reception vendor performance Ensure training compliance and documentation integrity Align operations with global security policies Coordinate closely with Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to ensure real-time monitoring, rapid response, and high-quality escalation management in the market 2.Vendor Governance & Accountability Support Regional Director in vendor management Conduct vendor performance reviews Implement corrective actions for service gaps Ensure contractual compliance 3.Program Development & Execution Design and implement field security programs Lead SOP and training rollouts Track KPIs and deliverables Work with Global Security Intelligence on operational opportunities and improvement mechanisms 4.Budget & Financial Management Support budget planning and forecasting in designated markets Monitor expenditures and vendor invoices Track procurement and providing financial insights 5.Cross-Functional Engagement Work with global teams for standardization and localization Partner with IT, Legal, HR, Facility and other internal stakeholders and ensure ongoing engagement and alignment are in place
Qualifications

Experience
Bachelor’s degree 6+ years of progressively responsible security experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military, or intelligence roles
Experience
in security operations and vendor management Relevant incident management, crisis leadership, and stakeholder-influencing skills Robust written and verbal communication skills (both English and Mandarin), with the maturity to engage internal and external stakeholders Why This Role Matters This position is a critical part of Global Security Operations team, sitting in the Head Quarter of APJ region.
