About The Opportunity This position will have responsibility for maintaining and repairing existing production equipment. Maintenance Mechanic – Keep Our Operations Running Smoothly! Location: Minooka, IL Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift opportunities Compensation: $31-$35/hr + benefits Are you a skilled troubleshooter with a passion for keeping machines running at peak performance? We’re looking for Maintenance Mechanics to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and improving our production equipment. If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and being part of a collaborative team, this is the opportunity for you! What You’ll Do Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Fabricate or adjust parts as needed to meet equipment specifications. Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. Document maintenance activities and communicate ongoing needs. Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with industrial voltages up to 480V and EAM CMMS systems. Skilled in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, DMMs, etc.). Familiarity with metal fabrication and modular equipment movement. Knowledge of ladder logic, relay logic, and motor controls is a plus. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital communication tools. Ability to respond to production line calls and recommend necessary parts. Advanced knowledge of machine operations and mechanical functions Ability to disassemble, repair, and troubleshoot plant machines Ability to make simple parts or equipment and tools Physical Requirements Work in a production/warehouse environment. Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. throughout the shift. Must provide own tools. 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am) The expected salary range for this position is $31-$35 hourly. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
