The North Face EMEA is looking for an exceptional PR Manager EMEA to join our Marketing PR Team in Stabio, Switzerland. Let's Talk about the Role This EMEA PR Manager role shapes how our brand shows up across performance outdoor categories to include trail, snow, and climb and leads multi-country media relations, shapes brand reputation, and localizes communication strategies across our key European markets. This role requires managing regional PR agencies and building relationships with top-tier European journalists in key markets. The role works closely with brand marketing, creative, social media, and sports marketing teams, manages agency partners, and represents the brand at key events across the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and beyond. How You Will Make A Difference Develop and implement strategic planning of integrated communications with internal and external counterparts for performance (on-mountain/technical) and lifestyle product categories, key initiatives, product launches and athlete storytelling. Set, define, and accomplish seasonal PR and communications objectives. Collaborate with brand marketing, sports marketing, and product leaders to establish editorial direction for seasonal initiatives and campaigns. Develop and write key campaigns assets to include but not be limited to press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. Develop, manage, organize, and execute press events, trade shows, and seasonal media tours. Produce and host media at global tentpole events where media are covering the activations (i.e. Climb Fest, UTMB, Transgrancanaria, Paris Fashion Week, Press Previews, etc). Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key media, editors, journalists, and endemic media product reviewers. Utilize sales and performance data and insights to make informed decisions and continuously improve strategies. Evaluate and respond to press requests and reviews in a timely manner. Manage product and company awards program, in partnership with the innovation teams and media outlets ensuring applications are written for success and submitted in a timely manner. Manage Crisis Communications working closely with Corporate Communications and preparing risk assessments accordingly. Manage budgets, invoicing, and administrative needs as necessary. Skills for Success Ideally, you will bring: 5+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field, with a strong track record of professional achievements. Senior PR experience within the outdoor, sporting goods, or performance-focused industry. Strong understanding of brand storytelling, visual communication, and media engagement. Experience managing PR agencies and external partners in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across cross-functional teams. Deep understanding of The North Face brand and a genuine passion for the outdoor and athletic industries. Cultural fluency and strong knowledge of the outdoor industry landscape. Ability to engage credibly with media, product reviewers, and editors while collaborating closely with creative teams on impactful campaigns. A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Willingness to travel frequently across Europe and internationally, and ability to relocate to Switzerland. Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional European languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus. What's in it for you?
