Responsibilities
1. Support Data-Enabling Features within Product Teams Assist in the execution and deployment of data-related features within Commercial Data Platform Product teams in alignment with Amgen’s governance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)Participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and data validationWork with marketing and commercial datasets (e.g., marketing campaign data, HCP/Patient activity, IQVIA data, CRM systems) under guidance from senior team membersHelp maintain data pipelines, perform data quality checks, and support anomaly identification and resolutionCollaborate with Technology teams to troubleshoot data issues and document findings for knowledge sharingContribute to connected data products that enable marketing and analytics teams to derive meaningful insights 2. Support Operational and Transition Activities Assist in operational data management tasks related to the insourcing of work at the Amgen India Innovation Center.Help maintain documentation, trackers, and repositories to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing operational efficiencySupport the setup and execution of standard processes to maintain data consistency and traceability 3. Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with global team members, including peers in the US, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned tasksCoordinate with cross-functional teams within the Data Management and Technology organization to support ongoing projectsContribute to team meetings, process discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives Basic
Qualifications
Any degree and 1–3 years of relevant data management in pharma industryFoundational understanding of data processes and data life cycleGood communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsStrong written and spoken English Functional Skills Must-Have Exposure to pharma or commercial datasets, such as marketing, HCP/Patient activity, or CRM dataBasic understanding of data management concepts (data quality, governance, metadata, lineage)Working knowledge of data analysis or scripting tools such as SQL, Python, or RFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks) or a strong willingness to learnAbility to follow structured processes and maintain documentation accuratelyEagerness to learn about end-to-end commercial data flows and modern data management practices Good-to-Have
Experience
