Position: We are seeking a Specialist Mechanical Project Engineer to help shape the future of the North American Engineering Airport Department. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering industry-leading material-handling systems that power North America’s busiest airports. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Lead by example to mentor, coach, and help develop engineers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture. Translate customer requirements into innovative, fully functional mechanical systems. Optimize the functionality of baggage systems in collaboration with a cross-functional project team (Electrical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Supply Chain, Installation, etc.). Design and deliver high-quality mechanical models using Revit and AutoCAD 3D Ensure our systems are designed safely via spatial analysis of clearance envelopes, egress pathways, ergonomics, and maintenance access. Perform system and component level calculations (Throughput, motor power, belt pull, reactive forces to building structure, etc). Coordinate building interfaces, resolving clashes and ensuring efficient constructability. Support procurement with the creation of BOMs and equipment RFQs. Provide clear, complete engineering documentation to enable successful installation and execution. Actively support the installation and commissioning teams by resolving challenges both on-site and remotely from the office. Position

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience.
