The Security Cluster Leader will oversee security operations across Schneider Electric facilities located outside Bangalore, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, R&D centres and corporate offices. The role is responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of security standards, governance, compliance, risk mitigation and operational excellence across geographically dispersed locations. The incumbent will work closely with site Security Officers, IFM teams, corporate stakeholders and security service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality security services aligned with Schneider Electric's global security framework. Responsibilities
Regional Security Management Lead security operations across assigned regions. Standardize security practices across sites. Conduct periodic site visits and audits. Ensure consistent implementation of security policies and procedures. Operational Governance Monitor service delivery against KPIs and SLAs. Review manpower deployment and productivity. Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives. Risk & Compliance Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews. Ensure compliance with corporate standards, statutory requirements and contractual obligations. Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs following incidents and audits. Security Systems Oversight Oversee performance and maintenance of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems and Visitor Management Systems. Coordinate with system integrators and technology vendors. Incident & Crisis Management Lead investigations into major security incidents. Prepare RCA reports and recommend mitigation strategies. Support business continuity planning and emergency response. Vendor & Contract Management Manage third-party security service providers. Conduct quarterly business reviews and performance evaluations. Ensure statutory compliance of deployed manpower and vendor documentation. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with Schneider Electric leadership, JLL operations, HSE, HR, Legal and Corporate Security. Build relationships with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies. Training & Capability Building Deliver security awareness programs. Conduct mock drills, emergency exercises and leadership training for site security teams. Reporting Regional security dashboards and KPI reports. Incident trends and analytics. Audit findings and compliance status. Budget utilization and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline Professional certifications in Security Management, Risk Management or Business Continuity are desirable. Ex-Defence, Police or Central Armed Police Forces personnel are highly preferred.
Experience
10–15 years in corporate or industrial security. Proven experience managing security operations across multiple locations (minimum five sites/offices). Strong background in vendor management, security technology, investigations and compliance. Willingness to travel extensively across India.
