About your team Asset Management CAO team is responsible front to back, for the operational and supporting capabilities across investment management. The Investment Management Solutions team is a cross asset delivery & support function driving collaboration, consistency & execution across the global asset management platform. The team drives strategic initiatives, provide support services enabling our investment team, and partners with our investment leaders to strengthen oversight, risk controls & regional regulatory engagement. Within the IM Solutions function the Sustainable Investing Solutions team is responsible for supporting global FIL’s proxy voting activities as well as core governance & reporting activates underpinning FIL’s sustainable investment approach. About your role As the SI Solutions - Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s stewardship activities. Your responsibilities will include analyzing shareholder meeting agendas, providing insightful voting recommendations, and executing high‑quality, timely proxy votes in alignment with the firm’s policies and fiduciary duties. You will also contribute to policy development and ongoing process improvements. In this role, you will collaborate closely with investment teams, Sustainable Investing analysts, and proxy service providers to strengthen the firm’s governance framework and enhance our stewardship outcomes. About you The successful candidate will be a detail‑oriented governance professional with demonstrated expertise in applying in‑house voting policies and conducting precise research on investee AGM/EGM agendas. This role requires performing accurate analysis in complex or non‑standard voting scenarios and consistently delivering timely, high‑quality voting instructions. With a growing understanding of Sustainable Investing functions, the candidate is expected to operate with strong process discipline, overseeing end‑to‑end vote execution, quality assurance, and pipeline management. As the global regulations related to Sustainable Investing continue to evolve rapidly, the candidate must be able to learn, adapt, and refine deliverables to meet emerging requirements. Key

Responsibilities

Review and analyze FIL Investee companies’ global shareholder meeting agendas, focusing on complex corporate governance, remuneration, and ESG related proposals. Conduct researches and FIL voting policy application by leveraging FIL’s research capabilities, in-house voting policy, and external research resources to make thorough and informed voting recommendations for Sustainability Investment Analysts and Investment management team. Assist Sustainability Investment Analysts and Investment management team in engagement activities with investee companies on governance and sustainability topics. Handle end-to-end vote execution processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Act as a subject matter expert on proxy voting and corporate governance, oversee and support non-standard and client-specific voting requirements, resolving complex voting instructions, operational exceptions and market-specific issues while maintaining appropriate controls and audit trails. Coordinate with external proxy advisors, custodians, and voting platforms to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Contribute to periodic reviews and updates of proxy voting policies and procedures. Monitor regulatory and market developments in governance, stewardship, and ESG. Support the preparation of stewardship reports, respond to client inquiries, and complete regulatory disclosures. Drive continuous improvement, data analytics and automation initiatives across proxy voting processes. Leverage Python, SQL, Power BI, AI tools or other technologies where appropriate to streamline workflows, strengthen controls and generate actionable insights. Lead or contribute to the design and implementation of new operating models and controls, identifying opportunities to improve quality, scalability, risk management and operational efficiency. Develop & maintain consolidated, auditable process documentation library.

Education

in Finance, Business, Economics, Sustainability Investment or related field. Master degree is preferred.

Experience

in researches and analysis in proxy voting, corporate governance, stewardship, ESG or Sustainable Investing is a strong plus. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret corporate filings and governance documents. Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a high volume, deadline driven environment. Data analytical and automation skills (Python/SQL/PowerBI), experience of developing automation for business processes is highly preferred.

Experience

acting as a Project Manager, Business Analyst or Subject Matter Expert is a strong advantage. Proficient in using AI tools to improve efficiency, ensure accuracy, and solve business problems. Highly efficient English communication skills, both written and verbal is mandatory. Strong interest in investment management, corporate governance, stewardship and sustainable investing, with a commitment to maintaining and developing relevant market knowledge. CFA, FRM, CFA Institute Sustainable Investing Certificate or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience working effectively within a global, cross-functional and collaborative operating model. Global stakeholder management and global collaboration model experience is required. Proven record to manage stakeholder and deliver high quality work under pressure.
