Responsibilities
Procures goods and services. Prepares specifications for purchases. Receives requisitions, secures bids, tabulates, and makes award on standard purchases. Maintains records and files of requisitions, bids, and awards processed. Issues purchase orders according to proper policies and procedures. Ensures accuracy of purchases. Returns incorrect/damaged shipments to vendors and resolves inquiries and problems relative to solicitation/procurement actions. Required

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. No prior experience required. Preferred

One (1) to two (2) years of purchasing experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
