This position reports to: Commissioning&Warranty Suport Specialist __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as commissioning lead for projects with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design. The work model for the role is: {onsite} You will be mainly accountable for: Lead and coordinate pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for ABB MV and LV switchgear, including inspection readiness, test preparation, execution, punch list closure, energisation readiness, and handover documentation. Plan, sequence, and control commissioning works in alignment with Project Manager, Commissioning Manager, Site Manager, Installation Supervisor, package engineers, contractors, customer representatives, and field service engineers. Perform or coordinate electrical testing and commissioning activities, including functional checks, interlocking verification, protection and control interface checks, alarm/status verification, trip/close command checks, and system readiness verification as applicable to the project scope. Lead IEC 61850-related communication testing with switchgear and associated protection/control systems, including signal mapping verification, GOOSE/MMS communication checks where applicable, communication interface troubleshooting, and coordination with automation/protection teams. Ensure commissioning design changes, site modifications, red-line mark-ups, and as-built inputs are properly captured, reviewed, and submitted in line with project document control requirements. Prepare commissioning method statements, inspection and test plans, commissioning procedures, check sheets, test records, progress reports, punch lists, and final handover dossiers as required by the project. Drive proactive issue identification, technical clarification, escalation, and closure to avoid delays to energization, customer acceptance, or contractual milestones. Qualifications for the role Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent At least 5 years of Electrical testing & commissioning relevant experience Electrical MV/LV Design Thinking Fail-Safe Philosophy Cyber Security Agile Methodology Planning & Prioritizing Risk Management Strong communication and site coordinate skills Technical background on E-house Module (PMS, HVAC, UPS etc) Advantage if have ECAP3 certificate What’s in it for you?
