Be the First to Apply Job Description Sales OfficerThe incumbent would be responsible for the primary & secondary sales for the territory. The deliverables of this role is to increase the sales with the retailers/wholesalers by handling the distributors. Continuous exploration and implementation of strategy for building opportunities & developing team to drive daily POB target. Drive primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned region to ensure sustainable business growth. • Plan and track monthly primary and secondary sales, aligned with market potential, schemes, and stock norms. • Manage and strengthen the distributor network, including appointment of new distributors where required, in line with company guidelines. • Handle and develop the field sales team, ensuring productivity, discipline, and capability building. • Ensure optimal fill rates across general trade, wholesale and beauty outlets. • Validate distributor and retailer claims accurately and coordinate timely processing as per company policy. • Maintain all statutory, sales, and distributor-related records in line with audit and compliance requirements. • Ensure timely recovery and clearance of company outstanding from distributors and key accounts. • Manage distributor exits/closures, ensuring complete settlement of stocks, claims, and outstanding balances. • Drive strong in-store execution, ensuring visibility, hygiene, tester availability (where applicable), and planogram adherence. • Prepare journey plans for TSO/TSIs and ensure strict adherence to beat plans and market working norms. • Ensure adequate stock availability and visibility of all SKUs at distributor points. • Ensure effective communication and execution of all promotions, schemes, and launches at distributor and store level. • Secure paid or non-paid secondary displays at high-visibility locations to enhance brand presence. • Support product width and depth expansion by onboarding and servicing local and independent retailers. • Coordinate with CFA / depot teams to ensure timely replenishment and smooth supply flow to distributors and direct accounts. • Monitor and ensure adequate stock norms with distributors and retailers to avoid stock-outs and over-stocking.
