Job description

NSSR seeks graduate students at TNS with good attention to detail, able to manage projects independently, with strong writing and organizational skills. The positions run a total 30 weeks in the Fall and Spring Semesters at 10 hours weekly. Ideal candidates have a total of 10 hours of availability during our business hours, 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. CORE CAPABILITIES, PRIMARY DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Data collection and analysis Communications duties including emails Institutional research Events planning and community building Additional projects and duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Prior office or administrative experience Strong writing skills Proficient in Google Suite Proficient / Advanced in Excel and Google Sheet with the ability to organize and manage large amounts of information Comfortable with all aspects of Zoom Ability to adhere to University COVID-19 Policy and requirements Ability to maintain to student privacy (FERPA) HOURLY RATE: $17-21/hr, depending on position, supervisor, and experience WORK MODE: Hybrid/Split - Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent percentage of time on campus (ex 1-4x/week) and may work some of the time remotely. #LI-DNI We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of race, color, creed, religion or belief, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, marital or domestic partnership status, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity or expression, age, disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
