Overview We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Digital Marketing & CRM Associate Manager to join our marketing team in Timberland Japan. This role supports the planning, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing and CRM activities to strengthen brand engagement, drive online traffic, and grow customer loyalty. You’ll work in the brand marketing team, and collaborate with e-commerce, and retail teams to ensure a seamless consumer experience across digital touchpoints. Responsibilities
1.Digital Marketing: Support the execution of always-on and campaign-based digital marketing initiatives (eg. organic/paid social, display, search, and influencer). Work across regions (especially APAC) to organize assets, launch dates, and timely deliveries to support local marketing initiatives. Coordinate with local agencies and internal teams to develop creative assets and ensure timely delivery based on the marketing calendar. Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Radarly). Assist in maintaining and updating brand digital content and product launches in line with the brand marketing calendar. Monitor digital trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. 2.CRM & Customer Engagement: Develop and optimize CRM strategies for Timberland Japan, including member segmentation, lifecycle management, loyalty programs, and engagement campaigns. Support CRM campaigns across email, and plan/ignite loyalty programs to drive retention and repeat purchase. Lead member acquisition and conversion strategies to increase penetration and engagement. Lead the development of the Timberland Community to foster deeper consumer engagement and strengthen brand affinity through meaningful interactions and shared values. Assist in audience segmentation, targeting, and personalization efforts, monitoring and reporting on CRM performance metrics. Analyze customer behavior, purchase data and CRM campaign performance (open rate, click rate, conversion, etc.) to create personalized communications and promotional campaigns. Coordinate with retail, e-commerce and digital teams to align CRM initiatives aligned with broader brand goals, integrating customer journeys and enhancing overall experience. 3.Cross-Functional Support: Work with the e-commerce and retail teams to align digital efforts with seasonal priorities. Support digital reporting and budget tracking. Participate in brainstorming sessions for brand storytelling and digital activations.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, and/or e-commerce (agency experience welcome) preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
Experience
with CRM tools (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager). Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional projects. Fluent in both Japanese and English (business level or above), capable of handling cross-regional communications and reporting. Strong understanding of digital channels, market trends and consumer/marketplace landscape in Japan.
