Your Department We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with strong manufacturing quality experience to lead quality initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with quality standards across our operations. This role partners closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience in a higher-level quality role within a manufacturing environment, is comfortable leading investigations and audits, and possesses a continuous improvement mindset. Responsibilities
Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures. Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Analyze quality data, trends, and customer feedback to drive improvements. Conduct process, product, supplier, and internal audits. Develop, review, and maintain SOPs, quality procedures, inspection plans, and control plans. Manage non-conformances (NCRs) and customer quality concerns. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing operations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools. Conduct risk assessments, failure analysis, and process improvement activities. Mentor team members and promote quality best practices throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, customer requirements, and internal standards. Required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of progressive Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience with: ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems SOP development and process standardization CAPA and root cause analysis Internal and supplier audits Non-conformance management Continuous improvement initiatives Working knowledge of quality methodologies such as: FMEA SPC 8D Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) strongly preferred. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or similar certification.
Experience
