About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to be the first dedicated growth marketer at an early-stage startup building modern infrastructure for U.S. immigration — simplifying visa applications for individuals and helping employers connect with international talent. You'll own the entire funnel across both consumer (B2C) and employer (B2B) sides of the business, working in-person with the founding team in San Francisco to define how the market discovers and adopts the platform.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for a hands-on operator who thrives in a zero-to-one environment and is excited to shape go-to-market strategy from the ground up in a trust-heavy, mission-driven category.
What You'll Do
- Own growth end-to-end: acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention across both B2C and B2B funnels
- Build and scale the content and SEO engine for a high-intent search category (visa types, immigration questions, employer case studies)
- Run paid acquisition experiments across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn — identify what works and scale it
- Shape brand positioning, messaging, and storytelling for a trust-heavy category, including founder-led and customer-story content
- Build lifecycle marketing programs: email/CRM campaigns, referral loops, and partnership channels
- Set up analytics infrastructure and attribution modeling; run a rigorous experimentation cadence to measure and optimize funnel performance
- Partner closely with the founding team on go-to-market strategy and market positioning
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2–7 years of growth or marketing experience, ideally at an early-stage startup
- Full-stack growth marketer: proven hands-on experience across content, SEO, paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and analytics/attribution
- Track record building and executing content and SEO strategies for high-intent search categories with measurable organic traffic outcomes
- Experience running paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn — from testing to scaling
- Experience building lifecycle marketing programs including email automation, CRM workflows, referral loops, and retention initiatives
- Ability to set up analytics infrastructure, model attribution, and run structured experiments independently
- Analytical, self-directed, and comfortable shipping marketing initiatives without a dedicated team
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate — this is a fully in-person role
Nice to Have
- Experience marketing trust-heavy, regulated, or compliance-sensitive services (legal tech, fintech, healthcare, or similar)
- Experience managing dual-funnel growth strategies across B2C and B2B audiences simultaneously
- Personal connection to immigration, international mobility, or experience working with immigrant or internationally mobile communities
Location & Work Arrangement
This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Why This Role
- Founding team member scope — you'll shape the marketing function from day one
- High-intent, mission-driven category at the intersection of legal services and immigration technology
- Direct collaboration with founders on strategy and positioning
- Opportunity to build processes, channels, and a team over time
