[What the role is] This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering. [What you will be working on] Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Contributing to curriculum development, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing teaching-related duties for modules in Electronic and Computer Engineering, with a focus on embedded systems, programming, computer systems and infrastructure (networking, cloud, Linux, and cybersecurity), microelectronics, and artificial intelligence Identifying and spearheading opportunities for industry collaboration and partnership Participating in industry or consultancy projects to maintain professional relevance and industry alignment Supporting student development and growth in their educational journey [What we are looking for] A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Microelectronics, with at least 5 years of industry experience in areas such as product design/development/manufacturing, systems engineering, network/cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity A passion for education and a strong commitment to nurturing, teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively A self-driven and independent working style, coupled with strong collaborative abilities and a team-oriented mindset http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
