Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000 - $66,875 annually Full

Pay Range

$60,000 - $87,500 annually Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Job Type Unclassified Department Recorder About the Position The Trainer provides training to temporary and full-time Early Voting Elections support staff. The Trainer will create and deliver training complete with materials, instructions, checklists, and learning resources such as online modules, assessments, manuals, job aids, slide decks, and videos. The ideal candidate will be a confident presenter with experience using the latest tools and resources to create training. The Trainer will also assist with training logistics, such as setting up curricula, assigning training, and making password changes in the learning management system, acquiring and reserving training facilities, maintaining files and training records, compiling reports on course completion and surveys, setting up and packing training sites, printing training materials, sending training reminders, scheduling, and more!

Requirements

Must be a registered voter in Maricopa County by the time of hire Must complete Secretary of State Training to receive Elections Officer Certification within six months of hire or upon 1st eligibility Mandatory overtime during all election cycles We Also Value One (1) or more years of training experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Advanced Microsoft Word skills

supporting election activities Job Contributions Facilitates or instructs training classes and workshops on a wide variety of topics Prepares and updates curricula, manuals, reference files, and other educational materials Coordinates training schedules and obtains necessary equipment, space, and resources to conduct training Conducts training needs assessments and determines training objectives Participates in assessing the effectiveness of training programs and materials Researches new curricula and incorporates them into service delivery Develops and maintains a training records management system for temporary Elections staff to include attendance, course completion, and training satisfaction surveys Assists with the administration and delivery of training curricula on a learning management system and supports users Coordinates with community partners to arrange off-site facilities for training Generates temporary Elections staff training participant performance data report Supports Elections training programs and activities, and provides support to the Training Manager and other trainers

Working Conditions
