Lean Engineering Specialist
Job description
Job Overview We are looking for a Lean Engineering Specialist to drive factory performance and continuous improvement initiatives across operations. This role will act as a key bridge across regional manufacturing sites and support the development of lean capabilities. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient utilization of equipment and resources Design layouts for assembly lines and material handling to improve productivity and flow Analyze machinery and production systems to ensure optimal factory performance Develop and implement operational sequencing and process specifications to enhance efficiency and quality Support product line improvements and drive process modifications aligned with business needs Lead and support factory improvement initiatives using lean methodologies Deliver training and coaching to employees and management to build continuous improvement capabilities Act as the key contact with regional manufacturing sites (Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Thailand) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field At least 5–8+ years of experience in Lean Engineering or continuous improvement in manufacturing Strong background in factory improvement / operational excellence projects Proven ability to train, coach, and influence stakeholders at all levels Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams Advanced English communication skills (spoken and written) Ability to work independently and collaborate in a regional/global environment Willingness to travel or work abroad occasionally Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
