The Senior Search Buyer is responsible for developing and executing performance-driven paid search strategies that support client business objectives. Working closely with the Digital Media Manager, this role leads campaign planning, execution, optimization, reporting, and budget management across major client accounts. The Senior Search Buyer serves as a strategic partner to clients, identifies growth opportunities, and supports the development of junior team members. Performance Media Lead the strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid search campaigns. Analyze performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve results and meet business objectives. Manage campaign budgets, pacing, forecasting, and billing accuracy. Identify opportunities for testing, innovation, automation, and adoption of new platform features. Develop insightful performance reports and present findings to clients and internal teams. Maintain expertise in client businesses, competitive landscapes, and industry trends. Mentor and support junior team members in campaign execution and best practices. Account Management Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on search strategy and performance. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and achievement of client goals. Manage timelines, expectations, and campaign deliverables across multiple accounts. Communicate budget delivery, risks, and opportunities to clients and stakeholders. Research & Innovation Utilize platform tools, analytics, and market research to develop actionable insights. Maintain relationships with media partners and stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Champion continuous learning and innovation across the performance media team. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Media, or a related field. 4+ years of experience managing paid search campaigns, preferably in an agency environment. Advanced experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, GA4, and performance reporting tools. Strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, and broader digital media channels. Proven ability to manage large budgets, deliver results, and provide strategic recommendations. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong analytical and presentation abilities. Google Ads certification required; Microsoft Advertising certification is an asset. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
