Job Title Internship: Financial Data Analyst Job Description Start Date: as soon as possible Duration: minimum 6 months Type: Internship (thesis possible, but you are responsible for setting up the project proposal) Weekly Presence: 40h (minimum 32h) Location: Eindhoven/Amsterdam (3 days/per week, note: you need to be present in Eindhoven on Wednesdays, other 2 days you can choose) Internship: Financial Data Analyst Within the Healthcare industry there is an increasing trend towards “one stop shop”: customers want one reliable and accountable partner for longer term contracts, the partner needs to be able to take care of the integral project realization and execution. The Business Process Organization Team within ARIC operates with the above trend in mind, acting as a center of excellence in supporting modelling for long strategic partnerships (LSP’s), capability building and knowledge sharing. The intern will be integral part of the Finance BPO Team and will participate hands on in the team mission realization. For this particular internship the plan is to collaborate closely with the Hospital Patient Monitoring team in Europe and USA. And support them with populating business cases and the automation of this process. Your role: Automate the financial modelling and tracking of financial performance for the long-term strategic projects (LSP) in particular for the Enterprise Monitoring as a service propositions. Deploy this new solution in European Markets. Hands-on experience in Philips Healthcare business case modelling and financial KPI’s. Actively participate in the development and automation of financial models. Your responsibility is towards the sustainable use of the models. The responsibilities include: Gathering relevant information, structure it and build/populate the business cases. Support the creation and approval of different Scenario’s. Testing new functionalities, updating the test scripts and supporting End Users. Update documentation of our processes and create work instructions & video’s for End Users. Supporting trainings and presentations of new releases for End Users. You are a part of the Harmonized Business Case Team of Philips, which is embedded in the Finance organization This team is responsible for building and developing financial models for the quotation and delivery functionality of long-term strategic partnerships and complex solutions. You're the right fit if: You're finalizing your BSc or MSc degree in finance related field such as Finance, Accounting or Economics. Have excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel. Are familiar with PowerBi, SQL. You have strong analytical and problem-solving execution skills. You have organizational skills to work in a structured way and maintain a holistic focus. You are fluent in English, interested to work in an Agile way and not scared of being a change lead. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata. Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours. Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net. Paid holidays per internship term. About Philips We are a health technology company.
