An Assistant Executive is expected to develop a solid understanding of the accounts they support, including each client’s business, products, markets, key stakeholders, industry landscape, and external influencers. The role requires the ability to translate this knowledge into clear, concise communications for media, clients, and internal teams, while providing reliable day-to-day support and counsel to junior client contacts. We provide strategic PR consulting and communications support for leading global gaming brands. In this role, you will be able to contribute to high-profile promotional campaigns for world-class AAA titles & gaming hardware, engage with senior industry stakeholders, build relationships with influential gaming media and KOLs, and support communications programs for major industry events such as ChinaJoy, Tokyo Game Show, Summer Game Fest, and other key gaming occasions. Responsibilities Content Development: Monitor trends across supported industries and assist in developing high-quality communications materials, including press releases, briefing documents, media pitches, internal newsletters, reports, and other client-facing content. Daily Monitoring: Track local media and social channels, identify potential risks, and promptly flag key issues to internal teams and clients for assessment and follow-up. Media Engagement: Support daily media & KOLs relations activities, including media list development, press release distribution, product seeding, event RSVP management, and media follow-ups; assist in pitching stories and coordinating media interviews. Planning and Execution: Support retainer and project planning by contributing to timelines, workstreams, status tracking, and campaign execution across ongoing account activities and ad hoc projects. Event Support: Coordinate client events and media activities, including logistics planning, vendor coordination, onsite support, guest management, and post-event follow-up. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field. Oversea study or life experience is preferred. Relevant internship or entry-level experience in public relations, communications, marketing, media. Gaming, technology, or a related field client experience is preferred. Strong interest in the gaming, entertainment, technology, or consumer lifestyle sectors, with the ability to quickly understand client industries and media landscapes. Good writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese; able to develop clear, accurate, and well-structured communications materials. Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude, strong learning agility, and willingness to support reasonable overtime when required by project needs.
