Job description
Job Description We're looking for an experienced finance professional to join Agilent's Gas Phase Division as a Business Finance Partner to support gas chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments. In this role, you'll work directly with business, product, and R&D leaders to shape strategy, support critical investment decisions, and drive sustainable growth. Core
Responsibilities
Partner with Division business leaders to provide financial guidance, challenge assumptions and support operational decision-making across geographically dispersed businesses. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for assigned businesses, translating business drivers into actionable financial insights and recommendations. Monitor business performance, identifying risks, opportunities and actions to improve growth, profitability and resource allocation. Develop business cases and financial analyses to support investments, product development, and portfolio decisions. Collaborate with the FP&A COE to ensure high-quality planning, reporting and analytical outputs, enabling greater focus on forward-looking business partnering. Leverage data, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting accuracy, accelerate insights and enhance decision support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including business partnering, FP&A, strategic finance, or commercial finance roles. Demonstrated experience supporting senior business leaders and influencing decisions in a global, matrixed organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to business strategy and operational drivers. Proven ability to lead annual planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and performance management processes. Advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with a track record of challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Experience
leveraging data visualization, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve forecasting, decision support, and business insights. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, changing environment. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $135,840.00 - $212,250.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
