Product Owner and Senior Risk Data Journey Expert
Job description
Your role Do you enjoy combining strategic product ownership with deep expertise in credit risk data? Are you passionate about driving regulatory compliance, improving data flows, and delivering impactful solutions in an agile environment? Join our Credit Infrastructure team within Integrated Risk Management and help shape the future of Credit Risk at ING. As a Product Owner & Senior Risk Data Journey Expert, you will divide your focus between leading an Agile squad and driving the evolution of the Credit Risk data landscape. What you'll do As Product Owner (50%) Lead an Agile squad delivering enhancements to credit risk engines. Own and prioritize the product backlog, turning business priorities into actionable delivery plans. Collaborate with Risk, Data Management, and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure credit risk engines remain aligned with the latest policies and regulatory requirements. Act as the key contact for internal and external auditors. As Senior Risk Data Journey Expert (50%) Develop expertise in the Credit Risk Data Landscape, including PD, EAD, LGD and related risk engines. Support the implementation of regulatory initiatives within the Data Lake environment. Design efficient data flows and tooling for Risk and Business stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous digitalization of Risk processes and data architecture. What we're looking for You bring A strong sense of ownership and a results-driven mindset. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The ability to work effectively across Risk, Business, and IT teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Product Owner expertise Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.
Experience
working in Agile environments and managing product backlogs. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of the Record Bank data landscape is a plus. Credit Risk Data expertise
Experience
with Oracle Databases and SAS Enterprise Guide. Strong affinity with data, systems, regulatory requirements, and Data Lake architectures. Knowledge of credit risk models and processes is an asset. About the team The Credit Infrastructure team develops and maintains the engines that support ING's Credit Risk domain. These engines calculate critical indicators and risk parameters that directly impact capital calculations, Risk Weighted Assets (RWA), and Loan Loss Provisions (LLP). The team also manages the data infrastructure used to develop future risk models and acts as a key bridge between Credit Risk, Data Management, and other operational teams.
