The Director Consumer OE Sales LA will establish and deliver AOP for the OE Latin America Consumer business unit aligned with OE strategy and key objectives of unit sales, SOM, and EBIT contribution. Job

may include, but are not limited to: Develop medium- and long-term strategies for business growth aligned with OEM`s strategic plans and PBU/SBU business to leverage future replacement business Define and implement strategic plans to support investment in capacity and capability to meet market demand Lead organizational development for OE Latin America Business Sales Teams by strengthening talent in key markets, establishing career development opportunities, and succession planning Generate value propositions and competitive advantages to ensure Goodyear as a best choice to OE customers (Mounting Centers, Proving Ground, S&OP, and Class A Product Quality) Build OE platform roadmap considering new vehicles and tire segmentation Define target platforms (Replacement and OE) to have minimum Share of Business targets for each Platform Manage new platform introductions through cross functional PMO/ Stage and Gate processes (product life cycle NPV, labeling grade alignment OE/ Replacement) Drive company-wide efficiencies and growth through Global OE platform introductions Act as lead negotiator on all OEM contracts regarding tire specifications, pricing, volume targets, etc Partner with OEMs to drive optimal efficiency of processes including RMI processes, supply chain, and downstream volume management Partner with Latin America Replacement tire teams to integrate and streamline processes and resources with Latin America OE tire team KEY EXPERIENCE Minimum 12 years’ experience in sales area with preference in automotive industry business operation. Preferable in sales from a parts suppliers or tire industry background Minimum 10 years experience in sales business negotiation role Minimum 5 years concurrent experience in project management & managing expenses / budgets with projects coordination & strategic planning responsibilities involving technical, quality, manufacturing, marketing and sales organizations

Experience

at running pricing simulations, creating business quotation & writing business contracts for product supply preferably in automotive parts industry

Experience

at establishing the executing strategies of growth of a regional business with multiple product manufacturing locations in Latin America Region. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent KEY SKILLS Strong ability for leading and conducting Global Negotiations with top 10 OEM`s Business negotiation & sales techniques Building collaboration & diplomacy Demonstrating accountability Improving business performance Communicating & presenting in front of external customers and internal senior management Performing in challenging business environments Good understanding of technical aspects of tires & product marketing, marketing product technology and new concepts to the automotive industry
