Job description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Onshore Drilling Planner to join our Aker BP Alli-ance rig team. In this important role, you will help ensure safe, efficient, and compliant drilling operations. You will improve planning quality, support coordination between offshore and onshore teams, and help drive strong performance throughout the well delivery process. This role is key to bringing together Noble and our alliance partners Aker BP and Halliburton. Through integrated ways of working, you will also manage other service providers while maintaining high standards for safety, technical quality, and operational excellence. and core values such as respect, integrity, Performance and responsibility, while entering the digital performance era of modern drilling operations. Responsibilities

Play a central role in proactive well planning, including method and equipment selection. Work closely with the operator’s onshore representatives and alliance partner teams. Review and provide input on Operator Drilling Instructions; join relevant meetings and advise on technical capabilities and personnel needs. Support safe and efficient drilling operations with a strong operational focus, performance and professional integrity Promote a culture where safety is a core value and encourage continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience

in a similar role, or at least 3 years of offshore subsea drilling experience as a Driller or in a more senior position. Strong understanding of offshore drilling systems, both surface and subsea.

Experience

with NOV systems and NOVOS operations is an advantage. Ability to ensure compliance with international and Norwegian well control standards. Skilled at coordinating work between multiple stakeholders (customers, internal teams, alliance partners, and vendors). Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Able to work well with diverse teams as well as independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital planning tools.
