A Day in the Life The Principal IT Project Lead - Supply Chain Planning is responsible for leading strategic, cross-functional technology and transformation initiatives that advance global supply chain planning capabilities. This role partners closely with business and IT leadership to shape roadmaps, govern complex programs, drive delivery excellence, and ensure measurable value realization across planning, manufacturing, procurement, and operations functions. The position requires strong portfolio leadership, executive influence, business acumen, and the ability to translate enterprise priorities into scalable digital solutions that improve planning effectiveness, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

Strategic Leadership Drive the initiatives in Supply Chain Planning initiatives spanning Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Planning, and Supply Chain Digital Transformation. Partner with business leadership to develop strategic roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities and operational objectives. Drive project prioritization, investment planning, and value realization to maximize business impact. Ensure alignment of project execution with organizational goals, technology strategies, and operational needs. Program Governance & Delivery Excellence Provide governance and oversight across multiple cross-functional programs and projects. Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, operating rhythms, and executive reporting mechanisms. Drive proactive management of risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery commitments. Ensure portfolio health, data quality, and adherence to enterprise project management standards and processes, including portfolio management tools and governance platforms. Business Partnership & Transformation Leadership Serve as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Operations leaders. Lead business transformation initiatives enabled through technology, automation, analytics, and AI capabilities. Facilitate alignment across business functions, technology teams, and external partners to achieve strategic outcomes. Experience
14+ years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree in engineering or MCA or MSc. 12+ years of Program, Project, Portfolio, or Transformation Management experience.
Experience
leading large-scale Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, ERP, or Digital Transformation initiatives. Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management.
Experience
with planning platforms such as Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, OMP, SAP APO, or equivalent solutions.
Experience
leveraging AI, Automation, Advanced Analytics, or Digital capabilities to improve business performance.
Experience
in Pharma and Life Sciences company is preferred PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification preferred. Physical
