Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring, a team of HR Coordinators, promoting accountability, professional growth, and consistent, high‑quality service delivery. Strategic Advisor, providing guidance to client leadership on organizational and talent strategies. This includes identifying talent gaps, developing action plans to meet unit goals, and aligning local human capital strategies with institutional priorities. Employee Relations and Regulatory Compliance, oversee complex employee relations matters, including conducting investigations and advising on disciplinary actions. Ensure institutional compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (such as FLSA) while partnering with offices like General Counsel and Equal Opportunity to mitigate risk. Operational Excellence and Process Improvement, support the optimization of HR systems by providing solution-focused feedback on business processes. Drive change management initiatives and standardize HR practices across service teams to enhance operational efficiency and the client experience. Compensation and Consultative Services: Provide consultation on salary policies, performance management, and disability/leave referrals. This includes conducting pay equity analyses to ensure alignment with compensation structures and guiding managers through the employee performance review and improvement process. Data-Driven Decision Making and Communication, utilize HR analytics and workforce data to identify trends and inform leadership decision-making. Disseminate and explain HR communications regarding policy and strategy changes to ensure stakeholders are well-informed. Preferred Qualifications
Supervisory and leadership experience with a proven track record of developing competencies in direct reports.
Experience
working with organizational leadership on human capital and HR strategy implementation. Proven ability to interpret, train, and communicate complex HR policies and principles. Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, or an equivalent.
