Responsibilities
- Prepare and process day to day budget transfers entries as needed.
- Prepares fee-based program monthly accounting entries
- Analyze agency leave accounts and process monthly entries.
- Liaison for on-campus department business administrators for accounting and budget entries. - Collaborate on the agencies annual budget, organizing and analyzing data from Workday, and PBA reconciling to agency worksheets.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, to include budget allocations, year-end tasks (cleaning up and creating accounts), and allocation reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of applications for federal appropriation/award funding.
- Review federal and state accounts for expenditures, balances, and encumbrances. Prepare closing year end account payable budget entry.
- Assist with review, reconciling and monitoring of agency accounts, including federal capacity award accounts.
- Receive and approve salary savings forms as submitted by agency departments. Reconcile and distribute salary savings funds.
- Prepares monthly FAMIS upload entries for the credit card fees and EDE service fees associated with the AgriLife Learn and Register platforms.
- Analyze financial/budget data and develop reports.
- Monitor and manage agency queue in Canopy for payroll and department correction documents.
- Assist and provide backup to Financial Analyst for County Programs with day-to-day agent tasks as needed.
- Setup and monitor cost share for agency accounts, to include federal capacity award accounts.
- Responsible for setup and closing of agency state, local, and federal accounts.
- Create, maintain, and schedule business object templates and reports.
- Reviews and prepares payroll funding shifts through costing allocations and payroll correction transactions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus an additional two (2) years of related experience. Preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting.
