Job description

Do you have strong in-house recruitment experience across ANZ, with a track record of managing full-cycle hiring for a range of roles? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional candidate experience, partnering closely with hiring managers, and building strong talent pipelines across a dynamic and evolving business? Thomson Reuters Talent Acquisition APAC team is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join us. This role will predominantly focus on recruiting for our ANZ business, supporting hiring managers as we continue transforming across AI-enabled Software, Content and News. Please note that only candidates who do not require work visa sponsorship in their current location will be considered. About the Role As Senior Recruiter, you will: Conduct consultative intake sessions with hiring managers to align on expectations, timelines, candidate profiles, sourcing strategy, and communication cadence throughout the process. Own and manage full-cycle recruitment for ANZ roles, using a broad mix of sourcing techniques — direct reach, job boards, social media, and referrals — to build strong, diverse talent pools. Screen, interview, and present top talent to hiring teams, partnering with agency vendors where needed. Guide hiring managers, candidates, and HR through the selection process, including offer negotiation and closing. Act as a trusted advisor to ANZ business stakeholders, bringing market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring trends to the table. Contribute to broader APAC and global TA initiatives — including employer branding, careers events, EVP projects, and continuous improvement efforts. Support and collaborate with the wider APAC recruiting team, sharing knowledge and best practices across the region. About You You're a strong fit for this role if you have: 5+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in-house within a global matrixed organization, with substantial experience recruiting for the ANZ market. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to quickly build trusted relationships with hiring managers and HR partners. Strong consultative and influencing skills, comfortable negotiating offers and managing competing priorities. Tech-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to HRIS/ATS platforms; prior experience with Workday is a plus. The ability to work efficiently and accurately under time pressure across multiple concurrent searches. A collaborative mindset, with enthusiasm for working within a regional and global TA team. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in additional APAC languages is an advantage. #LI-SS4 What’s in it For You?
