The successful candidate should plan to work full time Spring and Summer semesters (January-August 2027), with flexible start and end dates. Responsibilities
Performs a variety of duties in the chemistry laboratories. Designs, executes, and reports on experiments to support internal and external customers with materials qualification, production troubleshooting, and failure analysis. Qualifications
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027 Be majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from January- August 2027 Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Pay Range
Bachelor’s: $26.75 to $32.50 per hour Master’s: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour At Northrop Grumman, our internship and co-op pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
