Work Shift

Day Work Days: MON-FRI, ON CALL, MON-FRI, VARIED HOURS, WEEKEND CALL Scheduled Hours: 7:30 AM-6 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 10.5 HOURS Hours Per Pay Period: 40 Hourly Rate/Range: $65.00+ For positions that have only a rate listed, the displayed rate is the hiring rate but could be subject to change based on shift differential, experience, education or other relevant factors.

Job Summary

Responsible for collaborating with leadership in planning and implementing the overall policies, procedures, and services of the cardiac catheterization and IR labs. Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including quality control and compliance with regulations and policies. Assists leadership with overseeing departmental staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets. Extensive knowledge of department processes.

Environmental Demands: Hospital examination rooms – radiation exposure hazard controlled, exposure to infection and disease 2. Essential Physical and Cognitive Demands, Manual Dexterity: Requires coordination, lifting and pulling of machinery, positioning of patients, walking, long periods of standing, concentration, patient care/customer sensitivity B. MISSION/STRATEGIC PLAN: Participates in activities which support the mission of the hospital C. JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: *Demonstrates the required job specific technical professional knowledge, skills and abilities. 1. Coordinates with department leadership the clinical, operational and financial management of the IR and Cardiac Cath Program. 2. Assists leadership with overseeing the day to day operations and workflow of the IR and Cardiac Cath Department. 3. Maintains all program supplies and system operations. 4. Responsible for appropriate utilization of resources to optimize patient care through delegation and coordination of care. 5. Responsible to meet all ACR quality measures as they relate to all regulatory standards. 6. Acts as preceptor for all IR and Cardiac Interventional staff. 7. Works in conjunction with Radiology Leadership to meet all program requirements related to both Interventional and Cardiac Cath lab processes. 8. Performs all other duties as needed * Document on addendum age specific competency. Part II: Employee Performance Standards A. CUSTOMER SERVICE: 1. Demonstrates fiscally prudent use of equipment and supplies. 2. Utilizes charge process for supplies/equipment. D. PROJECTS/ASSIGNMENTS: 1. Completes projects/assignments within projected time frames and expectations. 2. Participates in committees and task forces as requested. 3. Performs other duties as assigned within classification. 4. Assists with the orientation process for new hires.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree Preferred 4-5 years’ experience in Cardiac Catheterization procedures and processes ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required Vascular Licensing also preferred.
