Mechanical Engineer II
Job description
Participate in research and analysis of design proposals, specifications, and technical data to determine feasibility of designs and applications. Design and develop mechanical systems and products, including machines and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems. Create engineering deliverables such as concepts, layouts, 3D models (SolidWorks), fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, assembly models, and bills of materials (BOMs). Lead or support new project and technology development initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within predefined schedules. Perform product maintenance activities and support continuous improvement efforts. Assist in fabrication and development of test equipment, and establish testing methods and procedures. Perform fabrication and installation activities to ensure products meet engineering designs and customer specifications. Design systems that interface with machines, hardware, software, controls, robotics, and customer equipment. Research, analyze, and implement product revisions or updates through the Engineering Change Request (ECR) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) process with a strong focus on accuracy. Provide technical support to cross-functional departments and customers. Work independently on assigned design projects while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Prepare and present technical information to managers, clients, and stakeholders; respond to inquiries effectively. Write and maintain technical reports, specifications, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Participate in additional assignments and projects as required. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Three to Five years of related experience
Experience
in designing and supporting low to medium volume products in a fast-paced environment that meet rigid quality requirements
Experience
with developing dispensing systems, fluid handling systems, and electro-mechanical valves.
Experience
