Logistics Manager - Kit Room (Hybrid)
Job description
Work Flexibility: Hybrid As Manager, Kit Room Brazil, you will lead end-to-end Kit Room Operations across the country, ensuring efficient and compliant logistics support for surgical procedures. This role oversees third-party logistics providers (3PLs), inventory management, customer service, invoicing activities, and operational performance across direct and indirect operations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and high service levels. What You Will Do Manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring compliance with contract terms, service levels, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop and execute operational budgets, including forecasting and budget revisions for areas under responsibility. Conduct monthly performance reviews with logistics providers and implement corrective actions to address operational issues. Monitor warehousing, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, physical inventories, order fulfillment, shipping activities, and system accuracy. Oversee the order-to-cash process for direct sales, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Analyze kit utilization, inventory levels, surgical activity, operational costs, and invoicing data, providing recommendations to improve performance. Implement and maintain quality control, inventory management, and compliance procedures aligned with local regulations and company policies. Partner with commercial teams, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, cost management, service quality, and customer satisfaction. What You Will Need Required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations. Previous people leadership or team management experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Advanced English proficiency.
Experience
managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs), including performance management and contract oversight.
Experience
in medical devices operations supporting surgical procedures.
Experience
in inventory management, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Project Management certification. APICS certification or equivalent supply chain accreditation. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
