Job Title Personal Health Planning & Distribution Capabilities Leader Job Description The Planning & Distribution Capabilities Leader is accountable for developing, sustaining, and scaling planning and distribution capabilities across Planning & Distribution to enable execution excellence and future readiness. The role ensures that planning and distribution fundamentals, advanced capabilities, and new ways of working are embedded, adopted, and matured across regions, businesses, and planning & distribution roles through impactful training, clear standards, and measurable maturity uplift. In this role the Planning & Distribution Capabilities Leader expressly leverages (agentic) AI to optimize existing and new processes. Own the end‑to‑end Planning & Distribution Capability agenda across Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP/S&OE, and up- and mainstream Distribution Define and maintain a clear capability roadmap from fundamentals (systems, processes) to future‑ready capabilities, catering for the end-to-end value stream flow Develop Planning Principles & Policies governing systems, operation rules and processes driving fit-for-purpose standards Shape Planning & Distribution organization and roles design embedded with journey towards world-class capabilities Build a strong, future-ready Planning Capabilities team able to drive capability design, adoption and maturity at scale Deliver impactful training with clear curricula and comprehensive content enabling planners confidence & sustained adoption Anchor capabilities into S&OP and S&OE through training and assessment, enabling operational drumbeat Own capability funnel management with effective governance & strong orchestration across stakeholders driving from demand intake through adoption Lead and steer cross-functional support to drive the end-to-end Planning Capability program with consistent priority, robust tracking and transparent communication Deliver value realization from capabilities investment driven with robust sets of leading and lagging indicators Leverage digital and AI capabilities to scale learning & insights, drive productivity and accelerate decision-making Act as a thought leader in planning excellence, influencing stakeholders at all levels driving change management Own and drive a 360 degree inventory approach and lead the inventory workstream for PH

Experience

15+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, Transformation, or Planning Excellence roles within complex, global organizations. Proven experience working across end‑to‑end planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP/S&OE, Distribution), with strong understanding of both macro (strategic, long‑term) and micro (operational, execution‑level) perspectives. Demonstrated success in leading large‑scale capability, transformation, or excellence programs from design through full adoption. Proven expertise in the field of applied AI in Planning and/or Distribution. Leadership, Problem Solving & Execution Strong lean leadership and structured problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive higher quality standards. Proven ability to sense, assess, and manage risks early, using data, leading indicators, and forward‑looking insights. Disciplined in PDCA monitoring, ensuring initiatives are followed through until completion and sustainable results are achieved.

Experience

with scenario planning and trade‑off decision‑making, particularly in uncertain and complex environments. People, Stakeholder & Talent Management Strong experience in people development and talent management, including building high‑performing teams and future‑ready capabilities. Excellent people and stakeholder management skills, able to orchestrate across functions, regions, and levels of seniority. Recognized as a storyteller and influencer, capable of translating complex topics into clear, compelling narratives. Outstanding communication skills, able to adapt messaging effectively for senior leaders, experts, and operational teams. Program Orchestration & Change Leadership Proven capability to orchestrate complex, cross‑functional initiatives, aligning priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders. Strong change management experience, embedding new ways of working into operational rhythms and behaviors. Comfortable working in environments requiring continuous learning, with high personal learning agility and curiosity mindset. Strategic Orientation & External Perspective Strong orientation toward long‑term planning and capability sustainability, beyond short‑term delivery. Ability to build and leverage networks across the organization and externally, including benchmarking and collaboration with external companies, partners, or thought leaders. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. This is an office based role. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Compensation and benefits Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €93.049 Gross to €155.081 Gross. Pay within the range is determined using objective factors, including the skills required, relevant experience, role responsibilities, internal equity and local market considerations. The role is eligible for a maximum 6% bonus, linked to KPIs and company results. The full reward approach will be discussed during the interview process.
