Job Title: Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Department: Law | Law Reserve Job Description: The Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid supports the Law School's strategic enrollment management objectives by providing high-quality admissions and financial aid services to prospective and current law students. This position is responsible for counseling applicants and students regarding admission and financial aid processes, managing operational workflows, reviewing aid documentation, supporting scholarship administration, and participating in recruitment and outreach activities. The Assistant Director serves as a key liaison between students, main campus financial aid, and external partners while ensuring compliance with institutional, federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations. Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students regarding law school admission requirements, application procedures, enrollment options, and student life. Assist in the coordination and execution of recruitment initiatives, including law school fairs, pre-law advising events, information sessions, open houses, and admitted student programs. Participate in strategic outreach initiatives designed to meet enrollment goals and promote student success. Financial Aid
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary advisor for prospective and current students regarding financial aid programs, loan eligibility, budgeting, and financing a legal education Primary ownership of all Law scholarship programs Assist in the administration of institutional scholarships, grants, and other funding programs. Communicate financial aid awards and funding options to applicants and enrolled students. Serve as the primary liaison between the Law School and the university's central Office of Student Financial Aid to facilitate the effective administration of federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid programs. Represent the Law School in university-wide financial aid meetings, training sessions, policy discussions, and enrollment management initiatives.
Experience
4+ years of experience in higher education. A bachelor’s degree will be required. Master’s degree preferred.
