This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. What You'll Do Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for section in accordance with IFRS. Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Support the annual audit process by working with Corporate accounting to meet external auditors request. Conducts analysis and contributes to the review of SBU Investment Committee Applications. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Lead internal control audits. Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Review and approve accounting batches. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances and providing explanations. Retro Process: Validate, Update and Manage retro pricing with customer and suppliers. Lead reconciliation of monthly inventory count to ensure accuracy of inventory balance carried on monthly financials. Record any necessary adjustments resulting from count. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
