Responsibilities

Secondary research and ethnographic research in support of a book-length project. Other related duties to support research as needed.

Qualifications

– Education, Experience, and Skills Previous experience carrying out secondary research Training and previous experience carrying out qualitative interviews Understanding of research ethics and IRB protocols Interest in youth subcultures, the social and cultural impacts of digital platforms, and/or memory studies Prefer graduate student in the social sciences who has already completed one more research methods courses at the graduate level. WORK MODE Hybrid/Remote - Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Responsibilities

This Research Assistant position with Professor Kate Eichhorn supports a book-length research project through secondary and ethnographic research, qualitative interviews, and other research-related tasks. The ideal candidate has experience with qualitative research, research ethics and IRB protocols, and an interest in youth subcultures, digital platforms, and/or memory studies, with preference given to graduate students with research methods training. The role is primarily remote/hybrid with occasional on-campus responsibilities. We look forward to receiving your application!
